Jul 01, 2009 Company launches guide for diagnosis of eucalyptus' pests and diseases
The company's Forest Protection sector, linked to the Forest Management Technology, developed the pocket guide "Identification of the eucalyptus' pests and diseases in Copener Forestal: field diagnosis".
In its 42 pages, the book guides employees, forestry producers and people who work in the forest sector how to identify the main pests and diseases that affect the eucalyptus.
"Besides the training, the guide will help the field teams in the prior diagnosis of the damage agents to eucalyptus, streamlining the decision-making and development of mitigation strategies for their impacts", says the Forest Protection engineer Marcus Masson.
