Sep 16, 2009 RGM now is named RGE
Founded more than 35 years, the RGM Group, which Bahia Pulp/Sateri is part of, became to be named RGE Group. The announcement was made by the company on September 9. RGE is the English acronym for Royal Golden Eagle, which symbolizes our aspiration to be a continuous world-class company with international best practice.
Along these 35 years, the group evolved from a local focus, when it started its operations in the city of Medan, Indonesia, for a global presence, with operations in several countries aiming to attend customers in all continents.
For RGE, the new name marks a complete transformation in which it begins both to form its new generation of leaders and to professionalize its management. RGE wants its teams to embrace core values that were fundamental to success in the past and are the basis for its sustainability and future growth. Increasingly, it aims to conquer new markets, and be recognized for excellence in product quality and its social and environmental responsibility.
